Ceramides are crucial in maintaining healthy skin . People with compromised barriers and sensitive skin prone to reaction should really give ceramides products a try. The Curel Intensive Moisture Cream is now topping the Cosme charts in Japan and I think it deserve all the rave for the wonderful formulation of the products. This product is indeed a god-send. It is great for all skin conditions although it seem to be recommended for people with dry, skin.I discovered this product from a friend who also has sensitive skin issue. The texture of the product is thick, creamy. There is a slight eucalyptus smell, yet very faint. The smell is almost non-existent. The cream does take a while to sink in once applied onto your face. I live in a humid hot climate all year round in Asia but this item serves me well when I use it at night and sleeps under the air conditioning unit. I would however, not recommend you this if you hate products that takes a while to sink in, you should go for the face milk version instead because it is liquidity and absorbs faster than this product. The product does not break me out and gives me supple skin and has helped in reducing the occurrence of fungal acne breakout. It is FA safe with a short ingredient list, no bullshit ingredient or fanciful packaging. I typically will use this right after my hatomugi lotion, and both the combination helps my skin feels calm and hydrated till the following morning. It has so far helped prevented dryness, redness and flaking issues that I get whenever I got for a winter holiday overseas too.

I bought this as a moisturizing sunscreen for winter. It is not the cheapest, but you do get a lot of product. It is really hydrating, but it is a bit of an oily milk that needs time to be blended in and to set. I have oily combination skin, and while this is not too rich for me, I need to give it a good minute or so for it to set before I can apply my base make up. It is fragrance free, it doesn’t sting my eyes or irritate my skin, and it sits well under my foundations. I wouldn’t repurchase because I prefer a bit of a thicker consistency for my winter sunscreen to make blending easier in the morning, when I am rushing to get to work. Oh, and it does leave a white cast, which I am okay with, but might look strange on someone with a darker complexion.

i have extremely oily skin around my t-zone and this helps to control shine well. even though my skin is still shiny at the end of the day, it’s not greasy but looks like a healthy glow. i used to suffer from closed comedones from a previous product and this helped to clear them up. the foam is extremely fine and does not feel harsh on the skin at all. skin feels natural and well-cleansed after washing too (ie moisture barrier is not damaged). highly recommend this face wash for oily skin types :)

Six months ago, I would never have imagined that I'd be happily smearing a vaguely citrus-scented body lotion on my sensitive, reactive,seb-derm afflicted 44-year-old face, but I NEVER want to be without this stuff! I've been using this twice daily for the last several months to help combat the effects of hard water and general age-related changes in my once oily and un-finicky skin, that now seems to react to almost everything. The fact that it is scented doesn't thrill me, as I tend to not do well with scented products and I'm aware of the potential sensitizing issues with citrus oils, but I've given it a lot of time, and I don't see any ill effects. Does my hair stick to my face a little? Sure! It's a fair trade-off though, as my poor skin has stopped turning bright red in response to every shower, temperature change, blast of wind, cup of afternoon tea, or just apparently looking too hard at it. I would consider this a bit pricey for a drugstore body moisturizer, but a little goes a long way on damp skin so a bottle lasts forever as a facial product. I'd noticed this on the shelf, but dismissed it as gimmicky and over priced, until reading a review by someone using it to heal their damaged moisture barrier, as it contains ceramides. I've tried a LOT of stuff over the last several years. Pretty much every highly rated cult followed holy grail blah blah blah, only to be forced to return to Albolene cold cream as a moisturizer. That works, but obviously, a slick of pure petroleum is about the least cosmetically elegant solution possible. This stuff might be a bit extreme for more normal skin, but it has been amazing for my chronic issues. I highly recommend giving it a try, and I plan to hoard some.
