Cleansers -Curel -Intensive moisture care foaming wash

on 4/19/2018 10:32:00 AM

I have tried numerous face washes but this one is da best so far!! My face is rly sensitive so much so that if i just splash my face with water, washing away my moisturizer etc, my face wld alr feel very tight. Nevertheless, this face wash leaves my face feeling a little less tighter than after using othr face washes!

Its a little ex tho... ( i bought it for $15) but rly worth it! Easy to pump out and water wont seep in as well!

BB Cream -Curel -BB cream

on 1/10/2018 9:51:00 AM

Sorry to break the good review but initially it was good but after a few usage, it became oily on my face after a few hours, even when I applied loose powder on top of it and it broke me out badly around my chin. I didn't like the texture of the bb cream, feels like mousse? I won't repurchase this.

Moisturizers -Curel -Curél Moisture Face Milk

on 12/12/2017 4:56:00 PM

I've tried 3 items from this brand
- Curél Moisture Gel Lotion
- Curél Moisture Face Milk
- Curél Intensive Moisture Cream

1. Curél Moisture Gel Lotion
This one is good to use in the day. Although it is a gel-lotion, there is no tacky feel like other gel moisturisers. It is scentless. This one is good for combination skin. For my skin type, it is ok to use in the more humid and warmer months.

2. Curél Moisture Face Milk
This one is good to use at night. It is a scentless lotion that absorbs quickly into the skin.
I like that it does not leave a sticky layer. My previous HG was Physiogel AL cream. This one does not leave a sticky layer that I appreciate. I'll use it in the day too, in the colder months.

3. Curél Intensive Moisture Cream
This one is the heaviest of the lot. Love it during the colder months.
I wouldn't recommend it for warm and humid weather though.

So far, all 3 moisturisers were compatible with my sensitive skin. There was no redness, itch or tight feeling. Love that they are scentless and give a 'clean' vibe.
Read on the brand's website that the 2 heavier moisturisers contain ceramide, which is an ingredient that I think is great.

Lotions/ Creams -Curel -Hydra Therapy

I used this for my scalp!
My scalp was not doing so well. It was very irritated and dry and no matter what I used it was not happy.
Oil treatments were even aggravating my scalp and doing nothing.
Sadly I am pretty sure I have both psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
I finally decided I wanted to try some ceramides on my scalp and see if they could help restore my scalp and give me some relief. However, I could not find anything that was suitable for use on the scalp with ceramides. Then I found this which you apply to wet skin.
This is how I used it.
I used an old scalpicin bottle which is small and has a tip for better application.
I put some warm water in the bottle then my desired amount of the hydra therapy (a couple teaspoons until I feel it is beneficial) shake it all up, part my hair and start applying in sections row by row, as a scalp treatment and leave it on from 15min -an hour. I do not need to rub it in or anything because it is liquid it coats the scalp with each section that I apply it to. Then I put my hair in a loose bun and put a shower cap on. It worked immediately to give my scalp some relief! From the very first use, the driest spots were softened and not so dry and irritated. It washed out very easily and I never had any build-up or residue left on my hair after washing out.
I did it nightly for the first week then every other night until my scalp was not as angry.
It is much more under control now and much less itchy and flaky!!
I now use it about once a week if needed. My scalp is not healed as both these conditions are very hard to get rid of completely but my scalp is now manageable.
It also works well for dry skin and I use it often applied to my hands with a touch of water and to dry spots. I never use it out of the shower because I just do not care to use an all over lotion in this manner.
It does soften the skin and help heal.

Toners -Curel -Moisture Lotion III Enrich

foto

The first time I bought this, I wasn't very pleased. It was fall in Tokyo and my skin wasn't use to the cold climate. My face was super dry - the driest it has ever been! I eventually stopped using it because it didn't work for me. After a few months of being back in my country, I ran out of the toner that I've really been using. So I've decided to give this a shot again. It worked like magic! It has a weird finish, in terms of texture. When I say weird, I don't necessarily mean bad. It isn't like other toners. It actually feels like a moisturizer on your skin when you put on like two layers. I haven't been using moisturizer anymore, but my skin never dries. I'm actually combination/sensitive skin and this works for me. I don't think this would work on really really dry skin though. This is my second purchase. I would purchase it again, but it's not available in my country! This is the first thing I'm buying when I go back to Japan.
