Cleansers -Clinique -Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

on 11/22/2017 12:25:00 AM

Bought this based on the reviews and seemed like a simple cleansing process. Also I cant use a foaming cleanser so I hoped that this would not cause redness and rashes. I agree it does remove makeup with ease.

Well after a month of use I now have clogged pores and a few cystic acne patches. Its going to take a while to get rid of this congestion on my skin :( Not for ance prone skin.

Mascara -Clinique -High Impact Lash Elevating Mascara

on 11/20/2017 10:52:00 PM

I got a free sample of this at Sephora and I hate it. I wish I'd never put it on. This stuff won't come off! It is now day 3 and after washing with soap and water, using cold cream, and eye makeup remover, it's STILL on my lashes and I wake up in the morning with smudges under my eye. I also had about 4 lashes fall out. This mascara made my lashes stiff and brittle and like I said, some FELL OUT. I have normal lashes that are long and I've been told I have a lot, but after wearing this mascara I think more have fallen out then I thought. I'm literally about to cry. I usually just wear L'Oréal or Cover Girl mascaras and they work wonderfully, and now I really regret trying this mascara.

Lipstick -Clinique -Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick - Berry Blush 415

Love this super-rich formula. Berry Blush is plummy beige MLBB shade. I'm finding that as I age the shimmer is not as flattering, but I really like the formula. It's very soft, doesn't last long, but the shades are pretty.

Cleansers -Clinique -Liquid Facial Soap - Mild

I was recommended by my grandmother who worked as a pharmacist in a cosmetic company. She said Clinique's one of the product who use high quality ingredients in the market. I have been using their liquid facial soap for about 3 years now. I have oily and sensitive skin. I get acne sometimes but that's quite rare. I live in a tropical country where the wheather is either hotter than sahara or its raining cats and dogs.

Honestly, first months after you converted to this product you will not notice any visible result .I was using L'oreal laser perfect sth facial foam and was doing fine with it, but I decided to see what's the fuss about this thing. I didnt have any break out nor have my face oil free. I'm still as slick as ever and I still get black heads and whiteheads. However, after few years I got bored and decided to experiment with other facial cleanser. Oh boy how it's a mess.

I practically break out of every facial cleanser I bought. The moment I use drugstore facial cleanser, on that same day my whole face raided with painful acnes. My skin gets so "thirsty" and mini bumps with puss grows. I have tried their mildest but apparently clinique spoiled my skin lots. I could only wash my face with LUSH's bar. By the time I went back to clinique my face calmed down in just 3 washes. I didnt need to use any of their anti acne line and my acne just disappeared and my skin felt plump again.

I had tried another clinique's facial foam in which i forgotten the name, but i broke out quite badly from that one too. I guess I'll be sticking to this one for a while. My verdict is I guess you get what you pay. And it is a quite good deal looking at what normal drugstore cleanser does to me. It provides your skin with proper ph, hydration, and cleansing. This product do not promise you with superficial enticing results but it promise to keep your skin in mint condition.

Treatments (Face) -Clinique -Smart Custom repair serum

on 11/18/2017 9:05:00 PM

I feel like the "smart" serum is trying to do too many things - thus not that effective on any of the fronts it's trying to tackle. I like Clinique Turnaround serum a lot more, It doesn't promise to reduce fine lines but unlike this one, it really delivers when it comes to radiance. The Smart serum is not worse than a lot of serums with similar claims in the same price range but I'd rather try something else before repurchasing it.
