Cleansers -Clean & Clear -Advantage 3 in 1 Foaming Acne Wash

on 8/13/2018 12:36:00 PM

This is great for the back breakouts. Way too drying for the face. Works great for back acne. Won’t repurchase as I find the smell too strong. But will use it for after the gym when I’m very sweaty to help keep my back clear.

Treatments (Face) -Clean & Clear -Persa-Gel 10 Acne Medication

This is a warning to all those who use this product!

I used this religiously about 2 years ago. I had moderately bad acne throughout my teen years, and no treatment ever worked as well this one. Every night I would put this on after my moisturizer. I had closed comedones over my cheeks and forehead, and active whiteheads on my cheek and jaw, and this helped immensely to prevent or quickly heal my acne. It stains VERY easily and was also quite drying. In fact, I would have dry patches everywhere but my reasoning was that I would rather have dry patches than acne. If I stopped using this product for a few days, I notice my acne coming back.

Then, I distinctly remember one day I saw wrinkles on my forehead. Then, I realized my skin looked PARCHED. So so dry, and I realized what I was doing. I was completely drying out my skin to relieve it of pimples, at the expense of getting premature wrinkles.

I quit using this product... naturally my acne was back but I was freaked out by my wrinkles so I didn’t dare use them. At that same time, I happened to start using birth control. My acne broke out like crazy the first month, but I remember a few months later, I suddenly did not get whiteheads anymore.

Two years later, I am kicking myself for using this product. I now I’m hyper focused on moisturizing, using AHA and BHA for my closed comedones, and slathering on sunscreen. My skin has never looked better, but I definitely have premature wrinkles that I attribute to all the years I used this product. Just know that there are better methods out there for fighting acne!

Cleansers -Clean & Clear -Foaming Facial Cleanser - Sensitive Skin

on 8/6/2018 8:36:00 PM

It’s amazing what a difference a gentle cleanser can make. Previously, I had been using some overly harsh cleansers in addition to roughly scrubbing my face with a washcloth almost every night, and my skin was perpetually red and flaky. Funnily enough, I didn’t put two and two together; I just thought I was destined to have a more blotchy complexion than most.
I was amazed at how fast the irritation left my face once I started using this product. I have very, very dry skin, and was originally worried that the foaming action of this cleanser would leave my skin feeling stripped, but that was not the case at all. My face felt soft and looked surprisingly even-toned. I’ve also been breaking out far less. The one negative for this cleanser is the inclusion of fragrance, which is an unnecessary additive in a product designed for those with sensitive skin. However, otherwise this cleanser is just about

Edit: I am still keeping the five star rating for this product, even though I am not using it anymore. Foaming cleansers in general are just too drying for my skin type, but that is certainly not the product’s fault. If you have normal, combination, or oily skin, I sincerely bet you would love this face wash.

Scrubs -Clean & Clear -Morning Burst Facial Scrub

on 8/1/2018 2:25:00 AM

I didn't like this scrub. I didn't feel it was much of a "scrub". it didn't leave my skin feeling exfoliated. in fact I didn't really feel the beads when washing my face with it. I don't think it's really worth using. it's hard to explain but anyone that uses a scrub on a daily basis knows what a scrub should feel like and do and this doesn't do it.

Cleansers -Clean & Clear -Makeup Dissolving Facial Cleansing Wipes

these are pretty good makeup removing wipes. they are a good price, less than 5 dollar per package. the packaging is quality and the sticky resealable cover continues to seal tightly, thru all the opening and closing a to the package so the wipes do not dry out. one wipe removed all my makeup, including eye makeup, pretty well. it gets the majority of it leaving only residue that face cleanser will easily remove. the wipe is nice and thick and soft against skin while removing makeup. it doesn't dry my skin out or any othe adverse reaction to my skin. it's one of the few mkeup remover wipes that I switch between depending on what's on sale so I do recommend these wipes and do buy them from time to time.
