For me, this did a terrific job of removing my eye makeup. It was exceptional there, honestly did a better job than many other products I've tried like Benefit, Neutrogena, Givenchy. However, it seems to like any oil (which I know some people are a fan of) and my eyes felt a little dried out after using it. It was like I needed to slap some kind of moisturizer on them pretty quickly. While the packaging is nice -- comes in a pretty glass bottle - I do not like how the top is completely open. Makes it difficult to dispense the product without wasting it. Overall, this is a good product but I'm still on the hunt for the "perfect" eye makeup remover.

I loved this lip potion at first but then realized the use cases for it are pretty limited. For night time use, Langeie's lip mask does a better job of moisturizing, and I've recently been loving the 3lab lip balm. For day time use, I can't wear this one because it feels greasy on my lips and can easily transfer... It is moisturizing but I feel like it is not penetrating deep down to my lips, and the grease just sits on top. It'd buy it if it's $10 but at this price tag, I won't be buying again.

This review is for the Le Stylo in Black. I used to be a MAC fan for liquid/gel eyeliners - Fluidline and Liquidlast were my teenage staples. And then, this time last year, I wandered into a Space NK in search of a liquid eyeliner with a thinner consistency for a change. The Le Stylo was exactly what I was looking for, so bear this in mind in case you're looking for a very graphic, opaque line. The resulting line is slightly transparent, understated and somewhat matte. In my view it looks very chic. This will not give you an inky, vinyl effect - that would be MAC Liquidlast. The barrel is a slim, metallic, beautiful thing and so easy to handle. It really reminds me of the Chinese calligraphy pens I used to wield and you would pretty much manouvre the barrel the same way - with a light touch and fingers a few spaces apart so you have full control over the pen i.e. don't crowd all your fingers on just one area of the barrel. The felt tip (and I'm usually not a felt tip fan) is nicely tapered and soft. It gives you a very fine line which you can build on. Once the liquid sets, it will not budge but there is a sufficient buffer period in case you want to smudge the line/make a correction etc. As such, I find this more forgiving than Liquidlast and is easier to handle if you're rushing to get your makeup on. What I tend to do is trace the line of the lid first and to create a wing, I take the edge of a finger nail and flick the drying liquid upwards and out at the corner of my eye. If I need more opacity on the flick, I will go over again with the pen. Et voila. The lasting power is tremendous. It lasts and lasts, even on my oily eyelids sans primer. I have worn this for all-night events and it's the only thing I trust to not flake or fade (unless you rub your eyes/not allow it to set correctly). I have not experienced any issues with the product dying up etc. but I am quite diligent in making sure I cap it as soon as I'm done with it. Price-wise, this is quite dear but you really do get what you paid for.

Chantecaille Luminous Lipgloss in Fig is my go-to, everyday, favorite for those days where I need a longer lasting lip gloss than the natural organic lipglosses I usually favour.I got a little pocket size Fig lipgloss off eBay, that I stash in my purse when I go out in the evening, or in the zip pocket of my pants or jacket when the weather gets a little windy or dry or cold. The main strengths of the Chantecaille lipglosses, which I have never found in another similar product, is that no only do they last quite a long time in terms of color, but even longer in terms of moisturizing, long after the color has worn off.Fig is a very natural (on me) healthy, rosy, warm shade, and I can apply it without even looking because it works so well with my olive, medium complexion. For evenings if I want a little oomph, I just layer on top one of the Chantecaille glosses that have shimmer - the degree of shimmer varies from the barely discernible to the ooh-la-la (but still discreet, not OOT glitter) depending on the shade. (Fig itself has absolutely no shimmer, nor does Magic, its cerise red counterpart).PS If you're interested in my take on a range of other Chantecaille lip glosses, you might like to see my individual reviews under Brilliant glosses. I use the Rimmel transparent lip liner to make sure the gloss does not migrate over the course of the evening. I think it is well worth testing them initially at the cosmetic counter or getting a mini off eBay to sample, because they are pricy, some of them are more transparent than they look in the tube, and you want to make sure you are getting your money's worth before investing in a pricey product.

After trying them all, this really became my "HG" foundation. I wear the shade "cream," which is a perfect match to my light olive skin (I also self tan a bit to give myself some color too). I find that this shade blends SO well, and I can wear it year round too. I see why they use this on celebrities (in movies, TV, award shows, etc). Nothing compares to how perfect this foundation makes your skin look. The trick is knowing how to apply it. I dot it on my face, then blend with a foundation brush. It gives your skin the PERFECT glow, while covering a lot. Now this isn't full-FULL coverage, and you still need a concealer for dark circles, blemishes, etc. But it's amazing in the sense that you can really layer this on when you're having a bad skin day and it doesn't LOOK like you're wearing a face full of heavy makeup! Yes, the price is really bad. But as much as some complain about how "unsanitary" the jar packaging is, they fail to see that AT LEAST you can get out EVERY DROP of product!!!! And when you're spending $80 a jar (or more with tax!), that matters. But BECAUSE of the price, this can only ever be my "special occasion" foundation. If you can afford to wear this foundation every day, you are very lucky (and very rich)!!! So on a daily basis, I stick to Physician's Formula mineral cushion foundation (along with their Instaready concealer) instead. But when I know I'm going to be in pictures or in front of the camera (sometimes I'm on TV with my work), nothing else compares to this foundation. I also love the fact that it doesn't have perfume in it and the ingredients are all natural, vegan, and good for you! This foundation is worth every penny because of this. Not only do you LOOK good, but your skin actually IMPROVES when you take it off at the end of the day. How many foundations have this effect?! I can remember using Armani's luminous silk foundation thinking I had "bad skin." Nope! Turns out, it was just bad foundation! So I cannot recommend this product enough!! They have an excellent shade range too.
