I picked this up in Redwood Forest since I'm allergic to a lot of drugstore lipsticks and was hoping natural products would fit me better. This is seriously an overpriced tinted lip balm, no joke. I needed to apply this with a heavy hand to even see anything. It barely showed any color on my lips (and I'm extremely pale with light pink lips), smelled like a crayon/similar to their lip balms, and dried my lips out badly. I had to use lip balm (not Burt's Bees) for two days to get them back to normal. My mom has also tried these before and agreed they were drying for her as well. I'm overall finding that I'm not a fan of Burt's Bees lip products, so maybe my body chemistry just hates them. But I feel like there are better lipsticks out there that are less drying with a more opaque color for this price or a bit more.

I will be honest, I was not a Hand Cream Purchaser or interested in any Hand Cream Products. This little gem came in a Subscription Box and I love it so much, I already bought 2/2 Ounce JarsPackaging comes in a glass jar with a twist off cap. The thing that Lured me in was the Scent! Can I say it smells soo good, I that I want to eat it?! After Appliying and Rubbing into the Skin, it leaves your hands feeling Butter Soft and Smooth. I have already repurchased this twice and can't stop using it. The Fragrance is just divine and this is a Top Quality Product. I highly recommend the try. I always get asked what yummy perfume I am wearing and it is just a Hand Cream. You won't be disappointed and if it were Edible, I would eat it.

Quite nice, especially on a budget. Don't let the colour put you off, it goes on very sheer with a slight tint effect, natural enough even for school. Top of the ingredients list are sunflower oil, beeswax, coconut oil, castor oil, lanolin, and pomegranate oil - all commonly used in cosmetics as moisturising ingredients. I think the relatively high content of beeswax and coconut oil in this lead to its stiff, firmer texture in cooler ambient temperatures - when I first tried it, I was unimpressed as it seemed so unyielding, like it took far too much effort to rake it across my lips to get enough of it on. Forgive the uninspired comparison but it was as if I was trying to use a candle as a lip balm. So I was going to just throw it away, and put it in my jeans pocket intending to toss it later on. I thought i'd try it one more time to be sure, and was pleasantly surprised by how much better it was - my body heat had warmed it up enough that it it went on easily, and actually felt moisturising. Probably down to the beeswax and coconut oil, solid at room temperature. Needless to say I kept it, so long as it's warmed up a little it works great.

I have mixed feelings about this product. In my attempt to go more natural (and sensibly priced) I was drawn to these. I do like there is little to no scent but because its more natural I have noticed some issues with bumps appearing on older on sale lipstick s or if I buy online. Too bad because with some tweaking this could be a great product maybe change the packaging to some thing less bulky but not cut back on the product and do something about the shea butter causes bumps . . I will post a pic later what I mean. That being said my fav shade is Lily Lake . Would love to see this in balm form . Love the tinted balms in the brown tube. I still have the original Sunset Cruise but the new ones appear more brown.:/

The texture is unlike any other BB lip balm. It’s softer and feels sort of greasy when I use it. The problem is that... well it sucks. I find myself reapplying it every hour and a half. Many others have stated it has actually dried their lips even more, and it’s true. So it’s the crappiest of all Burt’s and even costs more. It’s a no for me dawg, please do not bother even looking at this evil product.
