Lotions/ Creams -bodycology -Sweet Love Nourishing Body Cream

on 6/5/2018 9:04:00 AM

This is a pretty good lotion. It's moisturizing (shea, cocoa, & jojoba butters plus aloe & vitamin e) & super inexpensive ($3.97 at Wal-Mart). The scent initially smells sooooo good (whipped cream & sweet rose) but I've owned this for a few months now & the smell has gradually become more & more plastic-y. Overall this product isn't bad, especially for the price. But there are other lotions that I enjoy more so when I use this one up I won't get it again.

Lotions/ Creams -bodycology -white gardenia body cream

I am surprised so many people love this. It's inexpensive and a nice cream, but is totally lacking in the gardenia fragrance in my opinion. The gardenia lotion by Terra Nova is much better and stronger, but unfortunately costs way more.

Fragrances -bodycology -Body Mist in White Gardenia

on 4/12/2017 3:26:00 AM

This smells like the gardenia my mom kept years ago, not the gardenia jasminoides I have now. It's a lighter, softer white floral rather than a rich, buttery tropical white floral. It's cheap and has a well balanced sillage, and lasts for about three hours on my skin. I mostly wear it around the house. A potential fix for those who covet all the pricy designer gardenia fragrances out there now, but lack the funds? The travel size bottle is ~US$2, so you're not taking a big risk by trying it!

Fragrances -bodycology -Brown Sugar Vanilla Body Mist

on 2/10/2017 4:49:00 PM

Bodycology Toasted Sugar (I have the newer packaging so the Vanilla has been omitted from the label even though the scent is basically the same) is a warm burned sugar vanilla musk type scent with a little milky fresh rice note like the one found in BBW Warm Vanilla Sugar, and a very noticeable sandalwood in the dry down.

After showering, my skin still smelled very distinctly of the sandalwood base. The bottle says "Amber" but I have a ton of perfumes as well as real sandalwood essential oil, and I trust my nose.

For a body mist this lasts forever and goes through distinct stages. It smells very strongly of vanilla and warm woodiness.

It's a cheap body mist but glorious in its own way. My boyfriend hates it as much as he hates all fake vanilla scents so I can really only use it when he's not around. So bad it's good. Vanilla body mist 4-life! Hahaha...
