Useless product. I got a full size as a freebie at Sally's. Other BTZ products worked for me, so I said: Why Not? My fine hair gets greasy at the scalp and dry on the ends, so I need a good dry shampoo, and this isn't it. No results, just a light perfume fragrance, nothing much. The packaging is plain and minimal. BUT THERE IS HOPE: The price is steep ($20) but Living Proof makes the BEST dry shampoo in existence, I found out after this bottle of junk. Try that instead.

I completely fried my hair by bleaching it twice in a row then dying it. Needless to say, I had to get 8 inches cut off and my hair was so short I couldn’t cut anymore, it was too short. So I got this product as a last resort. Here’s what I did. Washed and deep condition for 5 minutes Put the masque on and wrapped my head in a cap for 2 hours. Rinsed and deep condition for 5 minutes. No blow dry and no flat iron. After that my hair is soft and hardly any breakage left. I will be a continued user of this product. Highly recommend.

I bought the sample/travel size hoping to achieve the piece-y look. I have short curly hair, I blow dry and straighten sometimes. I tried on straight hair, not what I was looking for. I will try on curly hair before totally deciding if I will keep it. As of now I will not repurchase.

I have been using the Beyond The Zone Protein Cocktail for around a year. I have long damaged hair that I chemically treat to be ash blonde, and I blow dry my hair twice a week. I have quite a bit of damage from all the DIY coloring that I do, and my ends can be straw-like.So the first time I used this product, it had noticeable results. It makes my fried ends look perfectly healthy, and makes my hair feel soft and silky to touch. A nice thing is it is *very* light, unlike the Perfect 10 and Garnier Moroccan Oil that I also use on the regular. The Protein Cocktail feels like you're spraying water in your hair, so it lends itself well to layering with other heavier products. I also think this will make it well suited to those with thinner hair (but my hair is fairly thick so I can't say 100%).The fragrance is very light. I detect a faintly fruity smell, but it's probably the faintest fragrance of any hair product I use. It's completely undetectable when hair is dry.The only drawback is that I find I can't use this product every single time I wash and blow dry my hair. While I can't say for sure if it worsens my hair texture, I would definitely say the positive effects are less pronounced. I wash my hair about twice a week and find I shouldn't use Protein Cocktail more than every other week. I'd love to use this every time I wash my hair because my hair is definitely significantly better when I do use it - but I really don't see the same benefits with more frequent use. I love using this after I've color treated my hair. I bleached my hair twice this past weekend (lightened roots on Saturday with 40 vol. developer, toned on Sunday with 20 vol. developer) and used the Protein Cocktail Sunday evening before blow drying, and you would never know my hair went through so much abuse so recently. Because I used Protein Cocktail, my hair looks better than it did on Friday when I hadn't used the stuff in a couple weeks.I definitely would recommend this to others with damaged hair.
