It's good for matting oily skin and for a gentle beta hydroxy acid to promote cell regeneration and reduce fine lines. It's not good for winter time as it's not very moisturizing but great for summer (I live in Florida and have oily skin).

Product does what the packaging claims: deep cleanse to smooth and purify. Would buy again.

This stuff is great! I bought it because it claims to help with large pores, which is a big problem for me. I don't have terribly oily skin, but I don't have any oily skin with this serum on. It does make my pores actually smaller too, not just blur them, but actually shrinks them. I heard that good skin care will require things like Abh, aha, retinol, vitamin c, peptides etc. So ice got a 3% retinol / matrixyl 300/ pure hyaluronic acid serum that I apply either before or mixed together with this, and top it with a little of this brand's vitamin c and lycopine moisturizer. I can really tell a difference in my skin tone, and the wrinkles are softened a little and pores are definitely less noticeable. I know it's all from the combination of ingredients from the three products I'm using, but wouldn't be perfect without this one, which I can thank for making me oil free and helping me with the size of my pores. Also, this product when used alone makes my face super soft and smooth, and I'm talking smooth like if I had applied a primer. I actually haven't used any primer since I bought this. The price is pretty awesome, I got this and the vitamin c moisturizer for $15 at Sally's. It has a natural scent, I believe the scent from the natural ingredients themselves, and it just smells nice and fresh. It comes in a slim, opaque white clean looking cylindrical pump bottle. I will be repurchasing this product and would def reccomend to anyone! I LOVE THE WAY THIS MAKES MY FACE FEEL!

This stuff is better than Proactive...it's the only thing that gets rid of my pimples. The stores don't sell it anymore 😔 Where can I buy this?

I've been using this serum for around 2-3 weeks now. At first I wasn't sure if it was the cause of some breakouts I was having, but after playing the elimination game, I found that it was not. This is an excellent vitamin c serum for those who aren't down with the $60 Ole Henrikson one. In Canada this is around $12 at Sally Beauty Supply with the Sally card and I think $14 without for 2 fluid ounces. Pretty good value in my opinion. The consistency is thin, not quite watery, but similar to a basic, non-foaming face wash. Before it dries fully it has a slightly sticky feel, and smells strongly of oranges. I kind of like the smell, but it seems some do not, it does fade fairly quickly, and usually once you apply a layer of skincare/primer/foundation over it, it's totally unnoticeable. The pump works very well, and locks to prevent spilling/accidental pressing. Since I began using this, I've noticed a subtle change in my old hyperpigmentation marks. This is a product that will deliver only if you stick with it. It's not an overnight miracle (or should I say over-day?). The best time to apply this is in the morning right after cleansing when your face is still damp. Vitamin C supposedly has SPF qualities, and doesn't work well with some other face products that are usually only used at night (BHA & AHA). I find that it layers poorly with argan oil, but well with my Sephora Oil Serum, so YMMV on what to pair it with.Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase, and I think I have found a new HG morning serum.Highly recommended to those looking for a reasonably-priced vit-c serum, or those just looking to venture into using vit-c and have no idea how their skin will react.
