Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics -BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara

on 6/20/2018 2:25:00 AM

I have very fine, straight, short, thin lashes. (same for eyebrows....lucky me) I tried this mascara a couple months ago, and even though i didn't like the price, I tried it on in Ulta, and could NOT believe those were MY eyelashes!! To let you know, I had a doctor appt. a few days later (lady GP) and while sitting in exam room talking to her, she said "did you get lash extensions??" I chuckled, cuz I'd never do anything that "may" make even 1 eyelash fall out (see my above descript). Told her, no I had on Badgal Bang. She couldn't believe it was just mascara. I wrote the name down for her b/c she was going to get some. :-) I can't praise this stuff enough. I don't know what the "magic" is..... is it the brush? i dunno, is it the formula? it's creamy, but not too thick. Whatever it is, when I run out I WILL purchase it again, because I agree with my lady GP, it gives these pitiful thin, straight, short lashes VA VA VOOM!!! I only need like 2 coats and they are wayyyy out there--- to me, they almost look like falsies ---which I'll take after living with nothing lashes. Hope this helps ya'll. :-)

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics -Cha Cha Tint

This is an "I think I would repurchase"

-Easy to find
-Good look on lip when applied with clean doefoot applicator (like a sample one from sephora for example). ok lasting power not great on lips.
-Looks good on cheeks excellent lasting power. Advise using small stipple brush like Mac 130 or the ELF small stipple, then blend with your blending brush, foundation brush or sponge.

-I don't like the packaging at all, hard to store and just not good quality.

Overall this is a good product and made me want to check out more shades, I already like two others in this range

Mascara -BeneFit Cosmetics -Roller Lash

I've never tried Benefit's other famous mascaras because they had the reputation of being super thick and clumpy, and that is not what I look for at all in a mascara, so I can't compare Roller Lash to the others. Basically what I look in a mascara is (ranked my importance): 1. Definition (no clumsiness for me) and 2. Length. And this definitely delivers.

Roller Lash's formula is wetter than average formulas, but that's the reason why it defines so well. It also gives good length to my short asian lashes. It gives good volume for a lengthening and curling mascara. I for one am too lazy to curl my lashes, but this mascara also does a pretty good job curling it!

Also, I was wearing this on my top and bottom lashes when I got the news that my cat had died at the hospital, and while it did not stay put (I didn't expect it to, so that's ok), it did flake off neatly and did not do any ugly smudging. So I still looked quite presentable after crying on and off for about 6 hours. While it is smudge proof and decently waterproof, it's also not hard to remove, I just use my usual waterproof eye makeup remover.

I throw away my mascara religiously after about 4-5 months (or when the formula changes), so I always get the travel size version. It's small, but definitely enough to last me for that long with almost daily use. Overall, I found this to be a very fuss-free, effectively lengthening mascara. I definitely would't mind repurchasing this again.

Brows -BeneFit Cosmetics -Gimme Brow + Volumizing Fiber Gel

on 6/17/2018 6:17:00 PM

I’ve only recently discovered this fabulous brow product. As I’ve got older my mousey brown eyebrows have faded somewhat and I began looking for a brow product. I initially tried powder products but they were just so so and fiddly to use. This Benefit gel is amazing. The wand is tiny and I just brush the product through my brows giving them a boost in colour. It takes seconds and my brows are back.

Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics -Dandelion

I’ve been using this for about 7 months now, and I don’t feel like it’s impressed me much. It’s a very light and natural blush with a hint of shimmer. You have to build the color up to get the pigmentation you want, as it is pretty sheer. The packaging isn’t my favorite, as it can be hard to fit your blush in the box. It’s a nice blush if you’re looking for something light, but not for anyone who’s looking for a lot of color pay off.
