I have been using this item for the last 30 years or so, along with Borghese's Spa Lift for Eyes and Moisture Intensifier in the winter. I have normal, fair skin, which freckles easily in the sun. By using this, I don't have any freckles or lines on my face, no freckles or spots on my hands, where I will also use it if I forgot to bring a stronger sunscreen along. It is one of the few moisturizers that have a sunscreen at all. The SPF is fine unless you are running around outside or lying on beach for hours. Then you should be using SPF 50. If I have suggestions to Borghese about this formula, it would be to up that SPF number and stick some zinc oxide in it. If you have dry or oily skin, you might want something different and I think they have another item they sell for that. As the other reviewer said, it is light. I think that's a good thing. It is quickly absorbed and if you use it over the Intensifier, is very adequate for drying winter conditions. I've also used Lancome, Clinique, Nars, Clé de Peau, Dr Brandt, Murad, PTRoth and others over the years. I always come back to this. For the money, it's the best. Maybe I'm old school but if I don't see results, I am not going to listen to a sales pitches. So I also never use any of the makeup removers any of the cosmetic companies make. Cold cream removes all makeup, including waterproof, and is a moisturizer at night, without drying alcohol in it. Get a small or sample size of Cura di Vita with SPF 15 somewhere, use it for a week or 2 and then decide for yourself.

I have the 17.6oz and 7.5oz jars of this mask, and it’s lovely for when I want a night to relax and just pamper myself with masks, but it doesn’t really do much for me in terms or acne and scarring. It reduces redness for a bit and makes my skin softer that day, and that’s about it. I do get a lot of comments throughout the week about how my skin looks healthier and sometimes glowing when I use it, but I can’t really tell THAT much of a difference on myself immediately after using. It comes in a jar packaging with an airtight seal, but the product will still dry out after awhile before I finish up a whole 17.6oz jar, which is why I resorted to opening and using 7.5oz jars instead. When I found out they reformulated their mask and repackaged it in a 2.7oz jar for $48 (17.6oz jar used to only be $50 and then the price upped to $100, but it still was a better deal than $48 for 2.7oz), I went online during their Labor Day sale and ordered backups of the 7.5oz jars for 40% (with them already being 40% off before, totaling to an overall 64% discount).

Here's another testament to the axiom "you can't go back." I used Borghese years ago and they made the BEST eyeshadow on the market. I worked 2 jobs at the time and my makeup would stay on for over 12 hrs. This is not the case with this palette. These are hard, thin shadows with little staying power and even less color. I hated it so much I returned it. Very poor excuse for eyeshadow from a company that sadly, has gone down the drain. Great packaging though.

I ordered this from Borghese directly. I used to use this 20yrs ago and stopped because dept stores dropped the line. Now I know why. The tube I recd was dried up, so much so that dust flew off the brush. I called Borghese and they sent me another tube. This one is as dry as Arizona. Ten swipes on each eye and nothing on my lashes. Don't have the nerve to call them again, but I should for twenty bucks!Sometimes you just can't go back and sadly this is one of them. RIP please.

A cream based cleanser that left a film on my skin and did not remove all of my foundation. Has a light scent.
