I bought this soap at my local market for $2.49, for 2.75oz (78g). The packaging is beautiful to me. The soap is wrapped in wax paper and it comes with a little flyer on their other soaps, all housed in a cardboard box. When you open the flap of the box, it has the batch number and expiration date printed on the inside. This soap is said to be for Oily-Normal/Kapha-Pitta skin types. The label says it's Cruelty-free, Non-GMO, Vegan, Rainforest-friendly, Paraben-free, Gluten-free, and that it's a handmade product of India.I love the smell. I can detect a good amount of sandalwood in it, whereas in other soaps the sandalwood was barely detectable. It lathers and rinses off really well. This is one of my favorite soaps, the other being the Jasmine sticky rice mango soap from Unearthmalee (Etsy).

I love this soap. I like rose fragrances okay but it's not in my top ten fragrance picks, but this one, ah! While it does have a rose scent is more of a combination of rose and some clean, outdoors fresh air kind of green herbal scent as well. It is as if you're sticking your nose in the rose bush and equally receiving all the nuances of the plant, the flowers, leaves, the hips and the soil beneath, the full effects. The soap is very softening and soothing on my skin, it moisturizes and rinses well. I feel luxuriant when using this. (The packaging is luxurious too, the cardboard box and I love opening the crisp, waxy paper to get to the soap!) This is not the only one of the auromere soaps I have tried that I love but definitely one of the most beautiful smelling. (sandalwood is my favorite) Each bar has specific properties for which it lays claim. I've not noticed a big difference in one from the other but all of them I give a thumbs up to. I am a soap lover and I have enjoyed bars of soap from high end shops such as Aedes and very few of them have surpassed the pleasures I get from using auromere. Recommended!

It might smell funky (it's got neem in it), but it has worked wonders for my scalp/hair. I started using this because my scalp was so itchy and flakey and needed *something* because switching shampoos and conditioners wasn't doing anything. I started applying this and massaging it into my scalp and roots before shampooing, a couple of times a week and it and leaving it to soak in for at least an hour. My scalp immediately stopped itching and flaking, and my hair was glossy and silky soft. I've tried a few other hair oils and they're either too heavy and hard to wash out or just don't do anything, so even though the smell isn't the best (I really hat neem) I keep on using it.

This soap is amazing. Initially I bought it to treat dry and itchy skin, which gets worse during cold spells. Love the scent and how well it lathers. Then I thought about using it as shampoo and I must say it's one of the best shampoo bars I've ever tried. I use Ayurvedic oil on my hair weekly and always had problems washing the oil off. However this soap bar does the trick, and the amla oil-neem tulsi soap combo leaves my hair silky smooth and super shiny. Will definitely keep buying this product.

I've been using this brand for over 10 years and I wouldn't switch now. I like that this doesn't have fluoride nor baking soda. The clay acts as a gentle polishing agent to remove plaque. This is great for cleaning your teeth. If you want to whiten/bleach, use something else.
