I was really disappointed in this. I had bought a bunch of samples from Alima Pure but not this one. Figured it wasn't too expensive and all the other AP products had been interesting so just got full size. Somehow it manages to crease really badly (worse than rms uncoverup) in my undereye area - the creasing somehow happens on top of the crease so the clumped up product is visible. Normally (with rms, for example) it ends up inside the crease and never shows. The texture also just looks really bad. It's strange because the AP eyeshadows don't crease at all for me even though I have fairly hooded eyes.I have the lightest shade and use Neutral 1 in the Satin Matte foundation. The shade is a good match for me. It's on the lighter side but I figure it's a brightening concealer?I'm almosr sure I must be doing something wrong. I'm a big fan of the brand and love the foundation, eyeshadows, color balancing powder, highlighter, lip tints and am interested in trying the bronzer and setting powders. Just not this concealer, unfortunately.

I love this eyeshadow. I don't have a lot to add to what others have said. I don't wear eyeshadow a lot but this is my favorite. I never feel "overdressed" wearing this. I prefer to pat it on using a dense cream shadow brush (just something I had when I got this). That way is less messy and I get better colorpayoff. Less product in the air and brush and more on lids. Also, no creasing.

I got the Find your match kit that comes with a small kabuki, then promptly ordered the full size+their foundation brush. It took forever to reach me, I contacted AP and they sent me a replacement - great customer service. I think the kabuki is equally good as the foundation brush.I found a shade that fits my skin tone pretty much perfectly (Neutral 1) and this is a first for me. I have neutral to pink undertones, very fair half the time because I live in the subarctic where the sun don't shine, but not the kind of skin that burns at the first sight of sun. I tan and I keep a tan for months. So apparently this kind of skin is very hard to match. I've tried a lot of brands and this is the first really good match that isn't slightly too pink/yellow/dark.I have dry but fairly problem free skin and was worried a powder wouldn't work well but it seems fine. I don't know yet if I can wear this every day without it drying out my skin but as long as I moisturize properly it goes on well - but to be honest I think foundation always benefits from that. It will sit in dry patches a little but nowhere near as bad as the liquid/cream foundations I have. If I haven't moisturized properly or if I've used too much it can look very dry/powdery, especially at the end of the day.But the texture of this - it is to die for. I was really surprised how perfectly it went on right from the start. As long as you use a light hand and apply in thin layers it almost looks (and feels) like nothing. If there's too much product in the brush it will look cakey/bad. I love that even on a meh skin day it will still look okay on my nose (which is usually flaky and has stubborn whiteheads.) It also gives my face this lovely, kind of porcelain glow that I love. I'll take porcelain over splotchy cheeks any day! It's not full coverage on it's own, but barely medium if layered. I wear foundation to cover up red cheeks that are a constant for me. (Not the cute, flushed kind. The kind that goes from your nose down to your jaw.) It tones down the redness and evens out my skintone but I will experiment with different concealers/color balancers under. I tried their green color balancing powder which I want to get full size of - it helps a lot with adding coverage where I need it.It stays on well too. It doesn't transfer too bad when I touch my face etc and it's still there at the end of the day.I like that it's buildable and the ingredient list is clean. It's nice that you don't "have" to set it after but I usually wet a tissue and pat it over my skin to meld it in better. Helps it not to look dry/powdery. I'm also really interested in trying the satin setting powder. This is just generally a nice experience, being able to brush this on my face quickly and go. If it had just slightly more coverage it would be perfect.

I waited so long for Alima to make a product like this, so I could carry it around for touch-ups. I was shocked when it finally arrived and I realized it was scented with essential oils. I did use it for awhile. It didn't cause problems; but the fragrance was ultimately a deal breaker for me. I just don't like it. It reminds me of a lavender-calendula diaper cream I used to use on the kids.I've used Alima Pure's Satin Matte foundation for years, and it has been great. For awhile, I carried Laura Mercier's pressed mineral powder in my bag for touch-ups, but lately my go-to has been Physician's Formula Mineral Wear Airbrushing Powder, which has SPF 30.

I really wanted to love this pencil but I just don't. It is soft and creamy to apply, smudges well but it runs horribly after a few hours and I don't particularly have oily skin. Especially under the lower eyelid into the fine lines under my eyes. The colors are very nice and true, but I just don't want to find myself like a raccoon before lunch break. If it just stayed put I'd definitely buy again, but as it is, I just can't recommend it.
